Store XML in a field of type XML or using FILESTREAM

Question

I'm trying to figure out what would be the best way to store XML documents in db ... if we use a field like XML or if we use the recently introduced FILESTREAM? We would need to trick these documents for queries and, possibly, use the FULL SEARCH TEXT to allow custom search queries for these documents. Anyone have thoughts on any of the approaches for SQL Server 2008?
