XNA 4.0 for xbox question (confused)

At the moment, I have opened visual studio 2010, I see XNA Game Studio 4.0, and then I see Xbox 360 Game 4.0, as well as a window game (4.0). I was on the assumption that they were not yet released or not ready,

  • What happens when I actually use them? Am I using XNA 4.0?
  • Can I publish xbox games to Indie (pretty sure I can't) using XNA 4.0,
  • Is it possible to copy the code and use it with 3.1?
  • Can I use my code when they release xna 4.0 to play xbox / window / nothing but a Windows 7 phone?
  • If I really use XNA 4.0, what are the new features? and if they are not, what distinguishes it from XNA 3.1 (except for the phone)

sorry for all the questions that are a little confused

Yes, you are using 4.0 (beta if you are not using the old CTP)

  • Can I publish xbox games on Indie (pretty sure I can't)

The beta version does not support deployment and testing on Xbox. I guess this means that there is no publication of Indie Games.

No, there are a number of changes in 4.0.
