In SharePoint 2010 BCS, I created an external content type to get a list of appointments from our LoB application. This works, and I see a list of appointments in SharePoint.
The problem is that I only see meetings on the list. I want to display them on a calendar, but that doesn't seem like an option.
I set the Office item type in Appointment, and everything I read seems to imply that I can synchronize this list with the Outlook calendar, but I can not find any option to display the list as a calendar in SharePoint itself.
Has anyone found a way to display an external list on a calendar, or am I stuck writing my own or buying a third-party add-on?
