Any recommended pattern or strategies for accessing data from java in mongo db?

I am just starting a project where I need to return a POJO from our mongo db. I did a quick search and found several developers in development, but nothing out of the ordinary.

What I'm looking for:

1) Ideally, as little additional code as possible to display POJO on mongodb (and vice versa) 2) Recommended access strategy / template (regarding pooling, input configuration, etc.)
