I would like to use the Matrix Filter , however it does not work at all in IE9, unlike IE8. Was the filter idea obsolete with the new version? Is there any way to make it work? Thanks
If I remember correctly, they removed the filters in IE9 standard mode in favor of CSS3 styles. Try enabling IE8 mode with the following meta tag or equivalent HTTP header:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8" />
Is the new syntax used -ms-filter?
-ms-filter
-ms-filter:"progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(opacity=50)";
And could you provide your current code?
