How to compare Sandcastle conceptual help with Doxygen Pages?

Sandcastle has a fairly sophisticated XML MAML to generate conceptual help , as discussed in an excellent introduction since 2007 . How does this compare with Doxygen in terms of ease of writing content and control over page creation?

I am a big fan of using the Doxygen page to write such conceptual help, including a discussion of design issues. It is much less structured - there is the main page , and then you can choose how to group the pages by adding links from the subpage or ref command.

I also like the fact that I can include random Graphviz diagrams on my doxygen pages either with embedded snippets or with a link to an external file.
