Can you check if your OS environment and java are 32-bit or 64-bit from your program?

Question

I was told that there is a system environment properties file that I could check, but it has not yet given any specific results.

Basically I need to see which version of OS and Java I am running, so I can copy the correct DLLs to the startup directory. As always, the best solution is judged.

You can check the JRE version authentication property for the System class
