GC not working enough in IIS 7 - Windows Server 2008

I have a web application that eventually ran out of memory when running on IIS 7 Windows Server 2008. When I try to run the memory profiler against the leak detection application, it does not play on my development workstation ... Windows Vista.

GC collection cycles are incompatible between the server and the workstation, and it seems that the server collection does not recover all memory and eventually ends. The server becomes unresponsive and excludes exceptions from memory.

We tried to establish objects that survived too many generations to zero ... Some improvement was noted.

Any help / recommendations would be highly appreciated

The Tess Ferrandez blog has great info on debugging memory leaks with Windbg.

By removing the dump of the running application and then analyzing it in Windbg, you can find the source of leaks that you see.

The following entries are probably a good starting point:

Good luck
