Netbeans 6.9 uses 50-60% CPU

Netbeans uses 50-60% of the CPU all the time, and I installed NB only for PHP and the Yii framework.

My PC detail: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual processor E2200 @ 2.20GHz (2CPU), 1526MB Ram.

Should I update my computer or have the right way to solve this problem?

Netbeans checks the files in the project folder at startup, this may take some time, but after that you no longer need to use such a processor.

What OS and JVM do you use?

I disabled CVS and NBGIT modules (using tools> plugins>), and he left! I can see (with Sysinternals Process Monitor), which only supports NB only when it performs an initial scan of the project directory in the Ruby directory (I use it for Rails dev.) It usually takes less than 2 minutes.

I don't know how to fix the NBGIT problem yet, but for now I am sticking with git from the CLI.

I don’t know if this is your business, but I hope this helps!
