Noise reduction

I have one doubt regarding sound processing to reduce noise. Is there a free accessible and affordable DLL file for noise reduction in .wav audio formats or in any examples using C #, vb.net or vb?

SoX is a cross-platform command-line application that manipulates audio. A quick check of the page shows that it can reduce the noise level (see noiseprofand noisered).

You can use trimin conjunction with noiseprofto select a small clip of a larger audio file for use as noise.
