What happened to nStatic?

Wesner Moise wrote about a static analytic tool called nStatic for .NET that looked really exciting. It has been a few years, and since then nothing has been published.

Does anyone know what happened to the instrument, or, in fact, Wesner himself ?! I hope that he is in order, his last post on the development of nStatic explained that he had problems with his health and life imbalance.

In January 2015, Wesner himself answered your question in this post . It seems he has not given up the tool and still thinks that "NStatic can change the software."

According to these reports, his plans for 2015 included:

  • NConvert semantic code conversion tool released [earlier this year]
  • Kickstarter for NStatic, [in February]

He also mentioned that he was contacted by recruiters from two different large technology companies who can (or cannot) explain why we have no news from either NConvert or NStatic in a year.
