TV out iphone application

Question

I would like to display my application running on iphone on a big screen, either on a TV or using a projector. After a long search, I heard about the undocumented MPTVOutWindow API, which completely fills my requirement. But I think this is not approved by the apple. Are there any other options available in the latest version of the SDK for the TV application?

The class you want to see, UIScreenit supports external displays using the iPad VGA-connector in iOS 3.2 (iPad) and iOS 4 (iPhone).
