How to raise reboot class in JBoss

I am using JBoss AS 4.2.3.GA, and I want to do this to hot reload modified classes. Now JBoss AS is working for me with a deployed detonated war, after changing (recompiling) some classes, it starts to relocate the whole war:

14: 14: 03,732 INFO [StandardContext] Rebooting of this context has begun

and redistribution takes a very long time. I want to avoid such a waste of time, and maybe there is a way to tell JBoss to simply replace the modified class files without reinstalling the whole war?

I also tried reloadable="true"in

jboss-4.2.3.GA \ server \ default \ Deploy \ JBoss-web.deployer \ server.xml

But perhaps this is not what I am looking for. I do not know if this matters, but the exploded military directory is external to the server / default / deploy / dir. All my classes are in the WEB-INF / classes directory.

You probably need to research platform-specific solutions. Look for OSGi, Spring Dynamic Modules, JEE6 dependency injection.

Also, there might be an Eclipse plugin that makes this easy for you. I know there is one for Glassfish and JEE6.

What technology are you developing with?
