Which Java reporting tool for use in 2010 for small / medium web applications

We have a web application with several forms and some integration with mobile applications. We will create reports from data collected in forms and mobile applications. What tool should we choose, given how mature they are today, and how mature they will be in many years?

We DO NOT PROFIT, so the lower the expense, the better. I understand that JasperReports, Pentaho and BIRT are leading competitors, but are there any other solutions that we should pay attention to? What factors should be observed when narrowing a decision?

Just to let you know, we would like the tool to be developed on Windows and deployed on Linux. In addition, webapp was created using GWT.

Thank,
