The easiest way to create a table with Zend_Pdf

What is the easiest way to create a table with Zend_Pdf?

So far I have implemented tables with horizontal and vertical lines. Is there no other solution for tables?

There is this project in SF: http://zendpdftable.sourceforge.net/

However, it is still not very practical compared to other libraries.
