If I use a call to performSelectorOnMainThread inside a dedicated thread, when does the main thread execute the request? Does it do this right after the current main thread operation is complete, or is there some other type of hierarchy that determines when the executeSelectorOnMainThread call is made?
It is executed in the main thread at the next iteration of the main thread startup cycle.
