Porting Py3k Libraries

I really don't know if this is a question like StackOverflow or a Python-dev question. I would like to sprint in my place to convert python2.0 libraries to Python3; I am currently working on porting Distutils2.

  • Is there a place where I could find the graph / log library (dependencies) that need to be ported to Python3 of importance? (By importance, I mean that distribution is used as a dependency for many other Distributions.)

  • Also, if you have a distribution that you maintain and desire, some help port it to Python3, please feel free to mention it below.

You can get a list of packages available for Python 3.0 in PyPI. You can also view the complete list on the same site and perhaps try to determine which packages have not yet been ported.

The Python Software Foundation has allocated funds for the distribution of a worldwide sprint effort. We expect 2–3 monthly events focused on topics to help the whole community.
