What are the various Microsoft Workflow templates for?

I am trying to create my first workflow. I can not find a link to what use cases or primary use for the different types of projects that I find in VS2010. I am interested almost exclusively in Microsoft-developed workflow templates.

I am currently showing:

• Action Designer Library
• Action library
• WCF Workflow Service Application
• Workflow Console Application

What are the main differences? any of them realizes a beautiful view while doing what happens? (e.g. SSIS or DTS)

Am I missing Microsoftsoft templates from the SDK or extension?
