I am a PHP guy. In PHP, I mainly use Doctrine ORM to solve database problems. I am considering switching to Python + Django recently. I know Python, but have no experience with Django. Can anyone who is familiar with Doctrine and ORM in Django give me a comparison of the functions of these two ORM implementations?
Django ORM does everything I want. I found it easier to use and more straightforward than doctrine. Sorry I cannot help with the in-depth comparison.

I used the Doctrine for a 2-year project, which ended 1.5 years ago, since then I have been focusing mainly on Django.
I prefer Djangos ORM over doctrine any day, more features, more consistency, faster and wider.
