We are looking for a way to timeout the iPhone application and have tried several methods:
NSTimer, which is reset after the LocalNotification action, which is reset after the action
Both are close, but suffer from unique problems:
NSTimer: when the phone sleeps, the timer does not work LocalNotification: When the application is in the background, a notification is displayed, we have no way to receive a notification from the application.
Ask the group if it sounds right, or maybe there is something higher that I don’t have that will allow it to work.
