High score table

I want to add a table of local rather than online games to my Android application, and I would like to get an idea of the best way to solve this problem.

I have a list of users (now they are saved in a file and read as an array of User objects), and high scores should refer to this data in order to fill the table with the username and photo, etc.

For display, I think TableLayout will probably be my best option. I can create columns for image, name, rating, etc.

For the information itself, I think maybe a SQLite table would be the best way to organize my data? If so, then it might be advisable to move my user data to an SQLite table so that I can ensure the data is mapped correctly.

Does anyone have any helpful information or opinions on this? Thank.

The UPDATE . I went with a SQLite database (using two tables) and it works great! It was not too difficult to study and work. For the layout, I get a ListView using a custom adapter - the best way to accomplish what I wanted (more flexible than TableLayout).
