I'm trying to understand remote services at the moment, and everything is working fine, I can start the service and find out how to contact it through the AIDL interface. My problem is that the service seems to still be running in the same process as in the case of the activity with which it was started, because the activity also fails if the service fails.
I set the service process to remote (android: process = ": remote"), so what am I doing wrong? Or what do I need to do to completely disconnect the service process from the activity process?
