Using REST with a .NET 4 Client Profile

Question

What is the easiest / best way to use the RESTful service from a .NET client application using the .NET 4 client profile? Everything I found leads me to a complete structure:

• WCF REST starter kit. The HttpClient class requires a complete structure.
• WebChannelFactory <> is located in System.ServiceModel.Web, which is now removed from the client profile.
• The WCF Data Services Client Library is located in System.Data.Services.Client (not in the Client profile)

Is WebClient in System.Net my only option?
