How to run 64-bit programming with visual studio 2010?

What do I need to do to start making 64-bit programs in VS?
 I tried to use the 64-bit solution platform platform and used the option "copy settings from x86". The process is displayed as 64-bit. Is there anything else? Am I missing some interesting options?

Nope. All you have to do is set the x64 goal that you have already done.
