IPhone NSDateComponent is incorrect Date 1.1.2011?

Question

I set the date with "DateFromComponents", and when I read it ... it's wrong. Should I set DAY on the second or something else later to get the correct year?!? I set the year 2011, and when I read it, I get Year 2010!

I ran this code:

... and got this conclusion:

Clearly, the problem is formatting, not the date. However, I do not see what might be wrong with the formatting.,

Edit:

Shifting:

[dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"DD MMMM YYYY"];

... to:

[dateFormatter setDateFormat:@"DD MMMM YYYY"];

... solves the problem, although I do not know why.
