This week I created a new car. It runs on Windows 7, 64 bit. I installed Visual Studio 2010 Professional, then Resharper 5.0, which was quickly followed by Resharper 5.1 when it came out shortly after. Since I have a test project in MbUnit, I installed MbUnit / Gallio using the installer version 3.1647 x64 msi from here .
I expected to see the green gutter icons that Reshaper puts next to my tests, but I do not. I tried uninstalling Gallio and installing the 32 bit version. Without changes. I reinstalled both Resharper as Gallio on this , but that did not change. This procedure is %APPDATA%set to value C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming, so I deleted C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\JetBrains. I also tried installing both Reshaper and Gallio, deleting all the Resharper and Gallio data from AppData\Roaming, AppData\Localand C:\Program Files (x86)then again installing from cmd running as admin, but again no changes.
Resharper does not have the plugins listed in the Plugins dialog box, but the unit Resharper|Options|Unit testinglists the "unit testing providers": MSTest and nUnit.
There are two other add-ons in Visual Studio: ".Net Reflector" and "Visual Git".
What do I need to do for MBUnit to work in Resharper?
Which of these two tools provides integration? Should I install Resharper or Gallio first?
Where do the integration or configuration files go? It has been suggested that I should have a “catalog of scanned plugins” in C:\Program Files (x86)\JetBrains\ReSharper\v5.1\Pluginsor similar, but this is not at all.
