I am developing an application on an iPad and trying to detect events with a few touches. Events work fine, but in the simulator I don't get small circles that show you where you touch. There are not many problems for a single touch, but for multi touch it is a big pain. Any idea why these circles are not showing? I think something is wrong with my machine (MacBook Pro) because circles appear on another MacBook Pro.

I found that this problem only occurs if the scale is set to 100%; if I set the scale to 50%, circles will appear.
