Windows 7 taskbar icon not showing in .net 3.5 application

My application is in .net 3.5, its icon is displayed on the windows 7 taskbar when I launch the application. But when I attach my application to the taskbar, the icon appears and is replaced by a standard "no icon" window. I tried to make a 48-bit image for my .ico, but this did not solve the problem.

The icon that you see when the application is not pinned is the window icon. When it is pinned, the application icon is used instead. Go to the project properties and set the icon on the "Application" tab (this, of course, should be the same icon used for the main window to avoid confusion).

I just noticed: If you connect an application that starts from the visual studio, the "blank" icon is always used because the link is set to the executable file "AppName.vshost.exe".
