Choosing XML nodes with the same name but with a different attribute inner text in C #

I need to choose titleand status. Here is what I came up with:

string uri = "http://www.wow-europe.com/realmstatus/index.xml"; 
XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();  
doc.Load(uri);

XmlNodeList nodes = doc.SelectNodes("//item");

foreach (XmlNode node in nodes)
{
   {
   RealmList.Text += node["title"].InnerText + " - " + 
       node.SelectNodes("category[@domain='status']")[0].InnerText;
   }
}

This gives System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.in the selection bar. I am not sure how to select node.

Your code is great for your example, but the http://www.wow-europe.com/realmstatus/index.xml file contains at least one element at the time of writing, which does not contain a category element.

Since node is missing, you get an exception.

I am talking about this XML at the top of http://www.wow-europe.com/realmstatus/index.xml .
