You will need to write a client-side application that can communicate with the scanner, or in some way the scanner will receive fingerprint data and then transfer it to the server.
However, this is where you really want (need) some security. You donβt want to just send fingerprints to someone over the Internet - it's like sending a password in plain text. Now anyone who listens can tell you the fingerprint data and hey! logging in!
