Qt - how to add additional included directories

Hi, I am trying to create a qt program. Here I need a library file that is in

C:\Documents and Settings\prabhakaran\Desktop\ChessServerNew\ChessServerNew

I tried to edit the .pro file, for example

INCLUDEPATH += C:\Documents and Settings\prabhakaran\Desktop\ChessServerNew\ChessServerNew

But, still the qt compiler says that it cannot find these files. Can anybody help me.

Well maybe because of the classic double quotes, skip it ..

INCLUDEPATH += "C:\Documents and Settings\prabhakaran\Desktop\ChessServerNew\ChessServerNew"

Try it.

Try using a path without spaces, or specify it as shown below. I think that spaces in Docs and Settings are a problem. As a rule, I try to avoid any spaces in my paths, since qmake has problems with it.
