"Flash for Android" versus "AIR for Android" - differences?

Question

Froyo and Flash Player come to our phones.

In Adobe PreRelease programs, we can find the beta version of AIR for Froyo and Eclair. Thanks to this, I can develop a Flash application and export it to my phone.

So, is the AIR player a Flash player? o_O I can’t understand what are the differences between AIR and Flash on Android.
