Membership in ASP.NET/SQLMembershipProvider Source Code

Question

There is a special MemberhipPasswordException in the SQLMembershipProvider source for ASP.NET membership.

Its definition is not part of the source, but when I make the goto definition on it, it opens a definition that indicates: [from metatdata] and the file it came from is dll, system.web. dll from the temporary directory.

How did this happen or was it part of the msi installation that the toolkit vendor came with?
