What are the standard options for creating installation packages for your software application? I notice that most installation packages in windows look the same, which leads me to believe that there is probably one standard / standard option for creating an installer?
My application is based on java. My installation requirements are fairly standardized: starting third-party installations; Run command line scripts move files around
In addition, I would prefer an option that allows me to create an installer for both windows and Linux.
