How can I (reformat) a section from a .net application?

I have a C ++ / CLI application that should format a partition (single-disc writing in Windows XP Embedded).

Is there any other way to do this, besides starting the standard window formatting program? .. or is this my best option?

You must do this using the DeviceIoControl function .

Depending on what you are trying to achieve, the following control codes look relevant:

• IOCTL_DISK_CREATE_DISK - Initializes the specified disk and disk partition table
