JQuery slider starts from above?

I know that you can make the slider vertical, but is there a way to launch it from above and make it go to the bottom, and not to the bottom and go up?

$( ".selector" ).slider({ value: 100 });

This will launch the slider at the top of the default max and min slider. If you changed the maximum value, just change if you said 100 to your new maximum value. A few style changes, and you can make it look like your maximum is actually your minute. Good luck.

$(function() {
    $("#slider-vertical").slider({
        orientation: "vertical",
        range: "min",
        min: 0,
        max: 100,
        value: 60,
        slide: function(event, ui) {
            $("#amount").val(ui.value);
        }
    });

    $("#amount").val( $("#slider-vertical").slider("value") );
});
