RDLC Export Local Report to CSV

Question

In Visual Sudio 2010 ASPX ReportViewer Control the only export options: Excel, PDF, and Word. How to export a report to CSV.

I understand that SSRS reports can do this, but in my situation this is not possible.

If you have control over the data source, you can convert the DataSet to CSV and show the link for the user to download.

You can also add the CSV option to the drop-down menu of the export report view using jQuery and invoke the export to CSV when you select an action.

Thus, you override the report viewer only for the CSV file format.
