How to override SQL 2008 MDF file for use in SQL 2005?

Someone sent me an MDF file created in SQL 2008. I have SQL 2005, and the Attach function rejects the MDF file.

How to import this file?

You can not. You need to attach to the instance of SQL 2008 and synchronize the / BCP / SSIS schema and content.
