Is reading from MySQL faster or reading from a file faster?

Hi

I had a doubt that I saw how reading mysql data is slower in the case of large tables ... I did a lot of optimization, but I can’t get through.

I think this will give a better speed if I save the data in a piece of file

Each course will have a separate file. therefore millions of data = millions of files. I agree that it will consume disk space ... but what about the reading process? it's faster?

I am using PHP to read a file ...
