Lossless plain text compression PHP / JavaScript

Is there a way for me to losslessly compress text with the following characters (total 88)?

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ123456789!@#$%&*()-_+=;:'"<,>.?/[]{}

I am doing a chat, but I do not want it to spend so much traffic (the old chat that I used for several hours wasted 800 MB).

The text will be compressed in javascript (when you enter the chat input window) sent to php (which saves them somewhere), and then sent back by request (ajax in the chat) in a compressed format and unpacked using javascript.

You do not need compression when sending to the chat server. This is not your bandwidth.
