List of external sites

I have seen several sites that have pages containing only a list of hyperlinks to useful resources for visitors.

I am updating a site that has one of these pages. I wonder about their usefulness.

Is there any precedent for such a listing page? And under what circumstances is the maintenance of a web page containing exclusively hyperlinks supported?

I myself am trying to come up with more creative ways to represent these links. The plain old navigation bar (or folded links) just doesn't cut it anymore. Take a look at what I’m collecting on my new (still premature) website, which I’ll click in about a month.

I made the links a little more creative than in the past. If you're going to include links, try doing something creative (IMO).

Good luck to my friend!
