Wordpress does not allow me to publish on really old dates (year 1800)

I am making a timeline in Wordpress, and I am trying to record with a date of January 12, 1800, but Wordpress does not allow me. Apparently, he does not allow me to publish anything until 1970. Is there any way to fix this?

PHP (written in the WordPress programming language) uses the unix timestamp, which is the number of seconds since January 1, 1970. This means that you cannot use dates before this date, as this is the “beginning of time” in accordance with PHP.

Sorry if this was not the answer you wanted :(

You can put the date in a custom field and display it instead, and you can also sort by this custom field, so the end result will not be different.

You can use custom fields to store the date and show that instead of calling the_date or the_time.
