I am trying to send a JMS message from one instance of JBoss AS 5.1 to another. For my test, they both work on localhost, an instance of the JBoss AS client with the usual port settings and the JBoss AS server with the setting where all ports are offset by 100.
In the client EAR project, I defined the JMS provider loader in the jmstest-service.xml file in the root of my EAR with the following contents:

In the jmstest-ds.xml file, I set the definition for the factory connection:

When I start the JBoss AS client instance, I see a factory connection being created. So, I wrote the following code to send a JMS message:
