How to properly configure silverlight app for debugging?

First of all, this is my first attempt at a Silverlight application and a prototype.

I have an existing solution with several projects. One such project is a web portal with a catalog of services and the publication of .asmx. I have added a silverlight application to my solution.

When I launch the silverlight prototype, it gives me the message: “The silverlight project that you are going to debug uses web services. Calls to the web service will fail if the silverlight project is not started and started from the same web project that contains the web service. "

It's good. How should I do it? When I launch the silverlight application directly, it launches in the browser as "C: //file/.../PrototypeTestPage.html"

I tried to take this HTML file and add it to my portal, and then go to the HTML file. It just gives me a blank page. After the page loads, the browser displays "Waiting for localhost ..." as if it were making service calls, but my breakpoints on service calls are not called.

Can someone give me some pointers? I'm sure I just skipped some obvious basic step.
