VS2010 F # Smart Tag for adding open import ads

EDITS revised terminology from Intellisense to smart tags

Well, I readily admit that Intellisense / Smart Tags messed me up. I'm used to C # in Visual Studio, notifying you of adding declarations using imports when entering a class name for a namespace that has not yet been imported. You get a nice little underlined underline that you can hover over or make or ctrl-dot to get a context menu for adding an import or a full namespace qualification.

I just started playing with F # in VS2010, and I do not get this useful reminder when I refer to the system library class. I type in WebRequest , but the smart tag doesn't click to tell me that I need to add an open System.Net ad .

Am I missing something? Is there a VS extension that enhances F # Smart Tagging?

Here you mix two functions. Intellisense is a feature that helps populate statements and expressions as you type. The skrigachka that appears above WebRequestto tell you what you need to add using / open for System.Netis a smart tag.

F #, , - Visual Studio 2010. , .
