Ask maven to launch the berth on port 80 berth in Linux

I do not know what happened to Jetty. My apache2 (works as a service) works fine on my Ubuntu, but Jetty always causes a denial of rights.

I came across some sort of search result, but --- I'm confused ---

Will someone please track what can allow me to call mvn jetty:runwhere the pier was set up to work on port 80?

Any port under 1024 is a privileged port and can only be opened by the root user. But as a rule, it’s a really bad idea to run your web server as root - in the unlikely event that it becomes compromised, the attacker controls everything.

The trick is to start your web server (or dock in this case) with the root user and switch to another user as soon as port 80 opens. For more information about Jetty on port 80 see http: // docs. codehaus.org/display/JETTY/port80
