Cell Phone Monitor in J2SE

I need to monitor incoming cell phone calls in my application. Currently. The Java application runs on a PC (Linux or Windows). There is a PC connection to the cell phone via a serial cable or Bluetooth.

How to monitor? Are there any frameworks that provide a high-level interface for major mobile systems (nokia, SE, motorola, siemens) without the need to write AT commands?

Is there something like Gnokii or Wammu for Java or bindings for them? Are there proprietary solutions from mobile providers? Interested in Java solutions.

Use Java Telephony API (JTAPI)

XTAPI: http://xtapi.sourceforge.net/ is one of its implementations

I have personal experience developing an application with XTAPI and it works great for me.

If you already have a serial cable connected to the phone, your java application can just listen on the serial port to indicate an incoming call (RING) from the phone. Javax.comm and RxTx are the serial port libraries available for java.
