What is the responsibility of a .NET developer?

Many times I see ".NET Developer Search", but it doesn’t indicate whether you will work with ASP.NET, WPF, Winforms, Silverlight, ADO.NET, etc. ".NET Developer" does employers - is it a .NET developer who owns all of the above? Isn't it too much to know all at once?

9 times out of 10, I think you will find that this is a bad agency with a bad client, where no one knows what he wants.

However, it is possible that they simply think that if you know one .NET technology, you can easily pick up others. Only you know if this is true for you or not.
