I wrote a wrapper for SFML that would allow me to replace the render for my game if I needed. It worked. Then I reorganize and, while it is still compiling, now I get "inability to initialize application 0xc000005" when I run the compiled executable.
What can cause such an error? Google was useless. I am using Windows XP.
0xc000005- ERROR_ACCESS_VIOLATION- you have a wild pointer somewhere.
0xc000005
ERROR_ACCESS_VIOLATION
I sometimes got this error when I have the following setting:
X.lib, X.dll X.dll Y.lib, Y.dll
, X.dll , Y.dll.
I believe that you did not initialize glew and did not use it somewhere in your code. Try putting glewInit();somewhere at the beginning of your code.
glewInit();
