Google maps API cusom icon (not image)

I am using the Google Maps API. However, since I have so many icons, I try to use them with mapping technology. So I need to add the icon as a div instead of img. Is there any way to add icon to google maps like?

Yes. Put your image in a div, and then in version 2 use the GMap2.fromDivPixelToLatLng (or fromContainerPixelToLatLng) method for or in v3 from the DivPixelToLatLng (or fromContainerPixelToLatLng) from the MapCanvasProjection class.
